How I work

Unique website design is created around your specific business needs while staying true to your brand and visual identity. The design process starts with competitor research, values, goals and target audience insight. I build the design based on brand guidelines – colours, typography and style. This results in an aesthetic, clear and consistent brand experience that’s easy to recognise and aligned with market standards and user expectations (UI/UX design).

Process

Unique website/store design is created through a structured process where all page designs are prepared – from the homepage to inner pages, including mobile versions. Only after all designs are approved are they handed over to the developer.

This allows you to see in advance exactly how the final result will look, avoid unnecessary changes during development and feel confident and calm throughout the process.

    • Template design: mobile behaviour is mostly predefined and harder to adapt to specific needs; usually based on generic standards.
  1. Review your brand
    Make sure your logo and brand identity match your goals, values and target audience. If you see misalignment, it’s worth considering a brand refresh before starting the website. I consult on and carry out brand renewal as needed.

    Prepare professional photos
    High‑quality brand and product photos greatly enhance the look and feel of your website. If you don’t have suitable images, I can recommend photographers and help with shoot guidelines so visuals match your brand.

    Identify which specialists you’ll need
    Depending on the scope, I collaborate with SEO experts, developers, brand photographers, social media specialists, copywriters and others. The exact team is assembled according to your project.

Work starts after the contract is signed, a 50% advance is paid and all content is provided (texts, photos, page structure from SEO, if available).

1. Homepage concepts

  • 2–3 homepage designs within 3 weeks.
  • You choose one, give feedback, and it’s refined into a final version within 1 week.

2. Inner pages

  • Once the final homepage is approved, all inner pages are designed within 2 weeks.
  • You provide comments, and revisions are completed within 1 week.

3. Mobile & tablet design

  • After inner pages are approved, mobile and tablet layouts (as defined in the order form) are designed within 1 week.

4. Final files

  • After mobile and tablet designs are approved, all working files are prepared for the developer within 3 working days after final payment.

Mobile and tablet versions are designed according to your needs and what’s specified in the order form.

Usually this includes mobile and tablet layouts for the homepage. For e‑shops, category pages, product pages and cart pages are also designed.

If you want to hide or rearrange certain content on mobile, separate adaptive layouts are created. Development then ensures the design responds correctly on different screens.

Stage 1 – homepage
You receive 2–3 different homepage concepts. One is selected and refined into the final version.

Stage 2 – inner pages
You receive one design per inner page. For particularly complex pages, two options may be provided.

Stage 3 – mobile & tablet
You receive one version for mobile and tablet layouts.

Revisions at each stage are made until both sides are satisfied.
The only condition: once a stage is approved and we move on to the next (e.g. from homepage to inner pages, or from inner pages to mobile), we don’t go back to previous stages unless extra work is agreed for an additional fee.

I am responsible for design and visual direction. My partners and team members handle the other parts of the project – SEO, development, copywriting, photography and video production. This way you get a cohesive, professionally executed solution.

For each new project, a dedicated team is assembled based on your goals and requirements. If needed, I can also recommend individual specialists I trust and happily collaborate with.
